Insurance Surveyor Leeds, United Kingdom Up to £45,0000 + Car + Bonus + Benefits Are you an experienced Chartered Engineer, Chartered Surveyor or Chartered Builder looking for a new challenge? This expert operations and digital solutions business, which specialises within the insurance, financial service and utility sectors, are currently seeking an articulate and technically astute individual to join their Subsidence and Surveying Services team, operating in the North of England. The role will see you surveying damaged buildings, identifying causes of damage, construction defects, assessing repair requirements and scheduling necessary building repair works. Undertaking field based assessments of domestic and commercial building claims; youll validate and quantify claims in line with property cover, including providing a report and estimate for insurancerelated repairs and other consequential losses. The ideal candidate will hold a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Surveyor or Chartered Builder related accreditation or membership (MICE/MISTruct/MRICS/MCIOB); with a strong working knowledge of the insurance industry and a comprehensive understanding of buildings pathology, schedules of rates and estimating, as well as health and safety regulations. In addition they must possess a high level of self motivation and personal accountability with an exceptional degree of organisational skills. The role is predominantly home based, and as such, the successful candidate will be provided with all of the usual tools of the trade, including a company car, mobile telephone and laptop.
