Actively seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join the business to work on Data Centre projects across the UK. What the job of the M&E Quantity Surveyor will involve The M&E Quantity Surveyor will: Be responsible for cost controlling costs on all projects and ensuring budgets are achieved. Be tasked with managing and forecasting the Cash flow of a series of projects. Be responsible for valuation and cost control of the building services, sometimes involved in negotiation of contract sum, complete with preparation and negotiation of financial impact on base build works and preliminary costs Perform cost planning through to production of tender pricing schedules, produce a pricing schedule, pretender estimate and tender analysis All other general MEP Quantity Surveying responsibilities as required The Requirements of the M&E Quantity Surveyor The ideal M&E Quantity Surveyor should: Have a minimum of 4 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within UK construction Either have an MEP bias or offer a wealth of experience on MEP systems Have experience in technical/heavy M&E projects. Mane require an M&E Supervisor/Site Manager with a SMSTS to manage the installation of waste water pipes on a large site in Beckton. The project is to expand a wastewater treatment plant in Beckton, the M&E Supervisor will manage the subcontractors and ensure site health, safety, environmental protection and quality of work are maintained, issues are addressed effectively, and work progresses according to programme. Type of site work will be mainly mechanical and electrical, as all the civil work was already been completed You will need to be from a wastewater M&E background, able to make sound decisions, firm on maintaining site standards, and good at communication. This project is due to run for 6 months minimum.
