Our client is a leading supplier of quality DIY and OEM related products to retailers and manufacturers, with a supply chain extending through local authorities, architects and builders. They are currently seeking to recruit a Personal Assistant primarily though not exclusively, for the Finance Director and based at their Regency Mill site in Macclesfield. The position requires a most organized person, a communicator, one who forms excellent working relationships, whilst exhibiting patience, tenacity, and accuracy. The successful candidate will be someone with the ability to stay focussed under pressure, especially when working to tight deadlines and on a number of diverse, simultaneous, and overlapping tasks. Key Responsibilities: Full management of financial director's diary. Answering and appropriate screening of telephone calls, incoming emails, faxes and post and dealing with face to face enquiries. Arrangement and co-ordination of travel requirements, events and meetings on behalf of the company directors. Providing administrative support and reports as necessary for dealings with banks, HMRC, accountants, solicitors, suppliers and customers and for the company's operational departments and motor vehicles. Assistance with private banking and payments, including the production of reports regarding private investments. Other duties as required by management which may include being redeployed to other areas of the business. Key Skills and Experience: Previous experience as personal assistant would be an advantage though not essential. Excellent organisational and time management skills. The ability to work well on your own and as part of a team. Capable of a high standard of work and excellent attention to detail. Very high standard of communication skills. Sound business sense and a professional manner. * Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft office, and use of a company intranet system. The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 09.00 until 15.00, with the occasional requirement for some flexibility to work; or be available; outside of these hours depending on business needs.
