Fantasic opportunity for a full or part time veterinary surgeon to join a well established team of 9 veterinary surgeons (some with special interests in Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Rehabilitation and Acupuncture), 10 veterinary nurses and 12 support staff. This client has 2 branch surgeries approx 3 miles apart in the Bourenmouth area - the main centre has two operating theatres, four consulting rooms, separate kennels and cattery, a radiographic unit, an ultrasound unit, and a well equipped laboratory as well as twenty-four hour nursing facilities. The second branch has two consulting rooms, an operating theatre and ward unit. The practice has been inspected and approved as being up to the rigorous standards required by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as a Tier 2 practice and a Veterinary Nurse Training Practice. Although the practice do do their own OOH part-time vets only cover the very occasional shift and would not need the new candidate to be on this rota on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for a full or part time experienced vet to join their expanding team. Our client is looking to expand its current team in order to grow the practice, to provide a good work-life balance for all staff and to make the most of what the lovely surrounding area has to offer. This is a 100% small animal practice, that are lucky to have a truly lovely client-base. Facilities include digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, in house Lab with Abaxis biochemistry analyser and flat-screen microscope, K-laser, bronchoscope, isolation ward, separate dog and cat wards. You will be joining a team of 2 RVN's, 3 ACA's, a receptionist and 2 other experienced Vets. Full-time would be 40 hours over 4 days and part-time would be 3 full days and every third Saturday morning from 8.30am-12pm. Consulting and operating time is shared and there is no OOH. Anyone wishing to study for a Certificate would be welcomed and CPD is highly encouraged and funded.
