Our client is now looking for a female Support Worker to provide a high level of care to their client, a 34 year old woman with cerebral palsy who loves having fun and trying new things. You’ll provide 1:1 care to the individual in a happy family environment and cover all areas of personal care and companionship. The service user is sociable, fun and eager to try new activities, so you’ll need to be friendly, have a good sense of humour and be keen to join her in her daily adventures. As part of your role, you will be required to drive the client’s vehicle to take her to community activities and complete her therapy. Car insurance will be covered, but a full driving licence is key. About You To be considered as a Support Worker, you will need: - Experience of providing learning, cognitive and/or behavioural support - A full, valid driving licence - Excellent communication skills - A positive attitude Due to the nature of care required, only female applicants will be progressed for this role. An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Care would be beneficial to your application, but this isn’t essential.
