Initially focusing on the delivery of new business responding to inbound enquiries, outbound calls, lead generation via email, Social Media and the development of your network. The Retail Account Manager will manage existing accounts as well as market research to collate potential customers lists, reach out to them and ultimately convert them to new business. There will be occasional requirement to attend client meetings and visits. Initially the Retail Account Manager will be 60% sourcing new business / lead generation and 20% Account Management and development. An understanding of digital marketing would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite as full training will be provided. Work could consist of on-going projects on days, occasional night work and some weekends. Training and stock collection will take place at our nearest depot, Nottingham (NG6). Lifting and manual handling may be involved and additional training will be offered where needed. Uniform, vehicles and PPE will be issued as appropriate by the company. This is a role where you will be expected to confidently engage with retailers, retail staff, clients and both internal and external stakeholders. You will need flexibility around working patterns, extensive travel and may include some overnight stays in other regions.
