Retail Service Manager Aberdeen £15,470 (hourly rate £8.50) Our client is an innovative not-for-profit that helps to make life better for older people in the UK. They are now looking for a Retail Service Manager to join their team in Royal Cornhill Hospital. If you’re a determined retail professional with a fantastic management style, this is a superb opportunity to take on a highly rewarding role with an established charitable organisation. As the Retail Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering operational excellence within our client’s retail shop in in Royal Cornhill Hospital. You will ensure that the service mission, service plan, retail business plan and service level agreements are all met and your shop delivers against key performance indicators. Achieving agreed budget targets, you’ll make sure your store standards are exceptional and a friendly, helpful customer service is delivered at all times. Engaging and motivating both your paid staff and volunteers, you will coach and mentor them to fulfil their potential and bring them in line with our client’s policies. Your role will also include: - Implementing performance management processes to improve performance - Monitoring performance and providing feedback to enhance sales and improve efficiency - Identifying trends and opportunities and developing the retail plan in conjunction with the Area Manager - Building a strong working relationship with the Hospital Team Interested? If so, you will need: - Management level experience within a similar retail environment with comparable turnover - Knowledge of EPOS systems - Knowledge and experience of general administrative processes - Excellent customer service skills - The ability to proficiently use industry standard IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, Internet etc) to a basic level Organised and customer focused, as the Retail Service Manager, you must be a strong communicator with a team player mentality and the ability to plan effectively. A full driving licence would be beneficial to your application. This is a full time role working 35 hours per week which is flexible across all opening hours.
