You will be a key part of the process that puts items on the shelves along with general housekeeping. It will also see you alert the warehouse manager to any problems so that they can be quickly solved. The Companys Warehouse, based just outside Croydon, opens at 7am and closes at 4pm (and 5pm on Wednesdays) and being punctual is essential. The weekly working hours for full time staff are 43.5 per week (5 days). The warehouse operates a rota basis which means you may be required to work alternative Saturdays & Sundays (but will have a rest days during the week). A flexible attitude is essential. The Candidate: Having previous warehouse experience is desirable as well as possessing the ability to work well under pressure and be calm and adaptable. Do you have previous Supervisory experience within a Warehouse environment? We are looking to recruit a confident and positive Warehouse Supervisor to join a global supplier of pharmaceutical products based in StokeonTrent. Salary £22k plus benefits. We have multiple positions available with varying shifts, days, double days and night shifts, twilight and night shifts will include a shift allowance. As Warehouse Supervisor you will be leading a team of both permanent and temporary staff, providing training, conducting disciplinary procedures, 121s and motivating your team to achieve KPIs. You will be responsible for managing goods in, storage and dispatch of orders ensuring items are booked in correctly and that picks and deliveries are made on time as well as implanting continuous improvement process, lean principles and health and safety procedures. You will have previously worked as a Supervisor or Foreman within a Warehouse environment, have good IT skills with experience of warehouse management systems (WMS) and have real drive to motivate your team. It would be beneficial to hold an in date Counterbalance or Reach FLT license. This role would suit any of the following: Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Foreman, Warehouse Supervisor.
