Youll be working in a huge warehouse and carrying out typical warehouse operative duties including: General Warehouse Duties Picking & Packing Loading and Unloading Manual handling or lifting may be required up to 15kg What do we need from you? Not as much as you might think! As with any job punctuality is important. Previous Warehouse Operative experience would be welcomed but not essential as full training will be provided. You should be flexible, have a keen eye for detail and be able to work 10 hour shifts on various shift patterns. You must be able to pass a 5 year criminal background check and have the correct Right to Work documentation. Most roles will require you to have a fairly good level of fitness; there can be a lot of walking involved. Warehouse Operative applicants must be 18 years and over Warehouse Operative Shifts Youll need to start work at 7am or 7.30am for a Day Shift or 7pm or 7.30pm for a night shift. Warehouse Operative Location: Bromsgrove Salary: Starting at £17,000pa, rising to £17,500pa following successful completion of a 3- month probationary period, plus opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday About the company: Based in Bromsgrove, our client works in partnership with medical device Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), adapting to individual needs and requirements by offering a package tailored specifically to each customer. They offer a comprehensive service which includes the testing, calibration and repair of a wide range of medical equipment, from enteral feeding and infusion devices, to renal, patient monitoring and specialist surgical equipment. The Warehouse Operative role This position of Warehouse Operative is responsible to the Service Support Manager for direction and support, and includes the handling of stock, and the cleaning and inspection of medical devices in line with customer requirements. The Warehouse Operative duties: Stock management of 3 rd party spare parts using spreadsheets and databases Carrying out inspection of incoming and outgoing product as required Packing and despatch of serviced equipment Placing purchase orders for the replenishment of spare parts or consumables Carry out stock takes to all spare parts on a regular basis Deal with collections and deliveries for the site. Perform administrative duties throughout the warehouse dependent on customer requirements.
