Your new organisation are a Tier 1 main contractor who operate across the UK with projects delivered by localised specialist teams, they operate across 9 key sectors. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a post graduate quantity surveyor to join the team on a permanent basis in their Birmingham offices. In your new role as Trainee Quantity Surveyor you will have the opportunity to be involved in large commercial projects where you will shadow a quantity surveyor. You will assist in undertaking cost analysis, value management and cost control, alongside the preparation of tender and contract documents, report on and control all commercial and financial aspects of projects and contracts. In order to succeed in securing the position of Graduate Trainee Quantity Surveyor you will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or related subject, experience in the role is not required. You will be an ambitious, proactive and detail orientated individual. In return you will be given world class on the job training alongside a salary between £18,000-£21,000.
