The Company A successful and expanding technology wrapped financial services company. Using advanced data analytics to provide insight into a range of key business areas, they specialise in consumer finance. The Role This is a great opportunity for a Commercial Law graduate to join a highly successful financial technology organisation. You will work directly alongside the Director of Regulatory Affairs and the Chief Legal Officer (General Counsel) on major commercial projects that relate to all legal operations, for example Intellectual Property, Employment Law, Contract Law and Consumer Protection. Day-to-day your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Providing legal advice to the business. Ensure the business is fully compliant with the requirements of financial services regulation. Maintain policies relating to compliance and regulation e.g. GDPR. Maintaining trademark registrations. Developing a close relationship with financial authorities. Produce reports relating to compliance. Requirements: 2:1 level or above in Law (other disciplines may be considered if you have relevant experience or modules). 300 UCAS points from your top three A-Levels (or equivalent). An interest in Financial Services, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs. Confident communication skills; you will be involved in high-level presentations. Well organised with a very strong eye for detail. Keen to pursue a commercially focused career.
