Reporting to the COO you will be joining a business who provide a high level of service into the biotech sector from a software perspective offering a flexible working approach allowing a great opportunity to be part of an evolving industry sector. The role will require a hands on approach to enable the senior management team to make commercial business decisions these will include; producing monthly management accounts and associated analysis, year end audit preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting and forecasts. This role will grow and the opportunity to effect and support system implementation alongside process improvements as the requirements of the business increase. Due to the nature of the role there will be adhoc tasks such as R&D tax calculations and monthly payroll/ pensions duties. The successful applicant will have gained experience within a Management Accountant or Finance Manager capacity and obtained an accounting qualification. Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Our client within the medical industry are looking for a Management Accountant on a part time basis. Reporting to and working closely with the CFO you will be joining a business who have recently launched a new product into the MedTech sector. The business are well backed with investment and require a commercially astute and competent individual to help with their growth plans. The role will provide an all encompassing position from performing reconciliations, monthly management accounts, reporting packs, regular reports against budget versus forecasts for each department while supporting the regional sales team with KPI reports. You will play a vital role in supporting the CFO in statutory accounts, R+D tax filing and treasury management. Due to the business expanding there will be opportunities to lead and support projects to improve processes and efficiencies within the finance function and wider business. The successful applicant will be in their final stages of ACCA/ CIMA or qualified with prior experience in producing management accounts and associated analysis. You will have strong IT skills, able to adapt and manage multiple tasks at any given point.
