There is currently a part time vacancy for a Consultant at The Priory Hospital-Altrincham working within our inpatient CAMHS 15 bedded specialist eating disorder service. The Consultant Psychiatrist is part of, and provides the clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team that aspires to provide excellent bespoke care to enable our patients to fulfil their recovery goals and work towards discharge. The Consultant is responsible for leading the medical care of patients in their allocated caseload (ten patients), supervising their allocated Speciality Doctor and leading the multidisciplinary team. The role holder will have a case load of ten patients on Rivendell Ward. Clinical duties include leading ward rounds, CPA meetings, risk meetings and care plan meetings and leading treatment pathways for each patient. The role holder will re required to provide reports for CPA meetings and for the Hospital Managers, Mental Health Tribunal and Commissioners. Additionally the role holder will be required to participate in site wide meetings including Clinical Governance and to take an active role in liaising with outside agencies promoting and developing the service. The role holder will be required to participate in the Consultant on call rota.
