The role is an exciting opportunity that involves working at a small special needs setting near Patchway & Filton and they require a teacher with significant amount of Autism experience to teach a small group of students that involve nonverbal students ranging of different ages in KS3 all in one class. The school tends to provide small, specialist learning environment that meets the students learning needs as well as providing them with emotional support through specialised support techniques and alternative curriculum suitable for the ASC condition. There are 5 students in the classroom, including a preverbal pupil who is being supported by a 1:1 LSA in a separate part within the classroom.
