Your new organisation is a specialist sub-contractor within the fa?ade and glazing sector, offering fa?ade design and installation, commercial glazing and insurance services. You will be working with the UK's leading main contractors on projects with Blue Chip clients. Due to continued growth they now require a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis out of their Sheffield offices. In your new role as Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for protecting the business against legal and contractual risk, in regards to contract terms, variations, and action failures by the client during the course of the contract. You will aim to maximise the financial position of each contract, whilst maintaining the relationship with the client. In order to succeed in securing your new position as Quantity Surveyor, you will have previously operated at this level and ideally have a background in fa?ade and glazing. You will have a HNC or Degree in Quantity Surveying alongside being a methodical thinker, excellent knowledge of construction, problem solving skills, excellent financial and numeracy management skills and excellent communication skills. In return you will be remunerated between £40,000 and £55,000 plus various benefits, a positive working culture, progression opportunities and autonomy within your role.
