I am currently looking for Nursery assistants/Nursery Nurse for adhoc cover weekly. Job Purpose The Nursery Nurse (NN) is a key carer for a specific group of children responsible for delivering exceptional care and education for children. The NN works within a team to ensure the nursery is compliant in all areas with an ultimate goal of going for Gold . The role of the NN is to support childrens development in partnership with parents, through observing, planning for next steps and evaluating. A NN has the responsibility of building strong partnerships with parents/carers and other professionals to ensure every child has an individual plan unique and aligned to their own needs and interests. Use reflection to proactively take on board new ideas and initiatives including feedback from external professionals to enhance the nursery Desired Qualifications A full and relevant Level 2/3 qualification A university Degree First aid 12hour paediatric qualification A good record of ongoing training and/or other relevant qualifications Essential Experience Experience working in an early year setting Desired Experience Experience in any role, which includes face to face work directly with children, within an early years context. Experience working with babies either in a professional home base or early years provision. Essential Knowledge Understand issues around child development to support all children including children with disabilities.
